"The Greatest Bond is the Shared Experience."
I hope to form a relationship with my readers by including them in my journey, every step of the way.

Shannon’s ongoing mission for the past four years has been to both educate our children about total health, and to provide them with the necessary tools to
take charge of their wellbeing.

Shannon is very proud to serve as a National Spokesperson for Veggie U, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to changing children’s eating habits, one classroom at a time.

Both the Veggie U curriculum and Shannon’s “Five Session Fitness Challenge” that she created are now being implemented in over 2,000 schools across 26 states every year. About 50 of these classrooms include every public and parochial school in the Lima area, made possible by her partnership with Saint Rita’s Medical Center.

Some of Shannon’s most noteworthy honors and accomplishments include receiving the Marvin Hamlisch Grand Talent Award (provided by Marvin Hamlisch himself), running the 13.1-mile 2011 New York City Half Marathon, finishing 1st Runner Up to Miss Ohio 2010, serving as the Spokesperson and Marketing Representative on behalf of Saint Rita’s ongoing Healthy Kids initiative, and having feature articles in both national and international publications.
